The South West Washington Chapter of the International
Code Council is dedicated to the education and sharing of information
and ideas relating to building codes and building code enforcement in
the South West Washington Area.
The South West Washington Chapter of ICC serves the Code Enforcement Agencies, construction industry, and the architectural and engineering professions of Southwest Washington. All jurisdiction and affiliation members receive newsletters, meeting notices, seminar notifications and any special announcements.
[Thursday July 31,
2008, a retirement party was held for Thor Larsen at the Camas Library.
Thor has been the Building Official for the City of Camas since 1982 and
has a served the City for 30 years. He has been a promoter of the SWW
Chapter of ICC serving as President for several years as well as other
officer posts and committees. He has been Chairman of the Technical
Advisor Group since it's inception in 1994 where he worked towards
uniformity and consistency throughout the jurisdictions of Southwest
Washington. He will be missed.]

On March
21, ICC Board member John Darnall attended the Southwest Washington
Chapter meeting. Darnall addressed the group and installed new
